Food

  • No. Based on standard meal recipes, not all Edo Japan menu items are gluten free. With the exception of sushi items containing crab meat, beef and spicy sauce (California Roll, House Roll and Spicy Rolls) or tempura shrimp (Dynamite Roll), all of our current sushi menu items are gluten free. All other meals/menu items, based on our current recipes are prepared using soy sauce (which is wheat based) and our signature Teriyaki sauce (which has the wheat-based soy sauce as a base ingredient). Customers can request that any meal (with rice, as noodles contain gluten), be prepared without the use of soy sauce or Teriyaki sauce due to allergies, but they must be aware that soy sauce and Teriyaki sauce are used regularly on our grill and there is no way to isolate a meal during the cooking process.

  • No. Edo Japan does not use peanuts or tree nuts of any kind in our meal recipes. However, some ingredients used in meal recipes may have been prepared on shared equipment and in facilities that do have peanuts/tree nuts present in their facilities.   • Yes. While milk products are not present as an ingredient in Edo Japan restaurants, some ingredients used in our restaurants have milk ingredients or have been produced in a facility and on equipment that processes milk products. This is true of our Udon soup base as well as our mayonnaise (used in California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls, Spicy Salmon Rolls, Creamy Scallop Nigiri, and House Roll). Udon noodles, green seasoning, and curry paste have milk or milk products/byproducts listed as ingredients. For more information, please refer to our Ingredients & Allergens Guide.

  • Yes. Several menu items may have egg or egg product ingredients present in the menu offering. For more information, please refer to our Ingredients & Allergens Guide.

  • Yes. Gyoza, Gyoza sauce, select sushi items and our spring rolls all have sesame seeds in the ingredient listing. Other products may have them included in their ingredient listing. For more information, please refer to our Ingredients & Allergens Guide.

  • Yes. Several menu items may have seafood or shellfish present in the menu offering, and seafood and shellfish ingredients are present in restaurants. For more information, please refer to our Ingredients & Allergens Guide.

  • Yes. Soy ingredients are present in the majority of Edo Japan menu items and soy ingredients are present in our restaurants. For more information, please refer to our Ingredients & Allergens Guide.

Gift Cards

  • Yes, you can redeem your e-gift card on My Edo App or online. If you receive an e-gift card, it will be sent to you by email. This email contains the e-gift card information you will need to redeem it on My Edo App.

    Once you’re ready to place an order on My Edo App, follow these steps to redeem your e-gift card: 

    1. Add your order items to your cart and when you’re ready, tap CHECKOUT.
    2. Once you’ve reviewed your order details to confirm they’re correct, including the location you wish to order from and your pickup time, tap NEXT STEP.
    3. When the payment menu pops up from the bottom of the screen, tap ADD A GIFT CARD (it’s above the PAY NOW button).
      • If you come to a screen that asks you to verify your account via text message, please do so.
    4. On the next screen, enter your gift card number, which can be found in your e-gift card email, and tap ADD GIFT CARD.
      • Please note that no PIN is required. Leave this field blank.
    5. Once your gift card is added, continue with placing your order. If there is a balance remaining on your gift card, it will be available for you to use on your next My Edo App order.
  • Yes, you can redeem your e-gift card for in-store orders. Simply show the email containing your e-gift card information to the cashier when paying for your order.

  • Yes. Once you’re ready to place an order on My Edo App or online, follow these steps to redeem your gift card:

    1. Add your order items to your cart and when you’re ready, tap CHECKOUT.
    2. Once you’ve reviewed your order details to confirm they’re correct, including the location you wish to order from and your pickup time, tap NEXT STEP.

  • Yes, you can redeem your plastic gift card for in-store orders. Simply present your gift card to the cashier when paying for your order.

  • No, unfortunately we are unable to mail individual gift cards at this time. We are currently only able to mail bulk/corporate gift card orders. If you would like to place a bulk order for gift cards, please call (403) 215-8800.

  • Yes, you can reload/add funds to a plastic gift card or an e-gift card either online or at participating Edo Japan restaurants.

    Reload online: Register the gift card number on our website here. Once you’ve registered the gift card, you will be able to add funds to the balance by signing into your gift card account.

    Reload in-store: Bring your plastic gift card or your e-gift card number in-store and a staff member

    If you’ve already added the plastic gift card or e-gift card to your My Edo App account, the new balance will automatically be updated on My Edo App.

My Edo Rewards

  • Free food is earned by collecting "tokens". You earn 1 token for every purchase over $15, before taxes, up to a maximum of 1 token per order. Collect 6 tokens to get 1 free meal reward!

    For tokens to accumulate, order information and preferences to be saved, you must have a My Edo Rewards account and use that account to order each time. You can order though edojapan.com or the My Edo App.

  • Congrats! You can choose 1 of the following for your free meal reward:

    • Sukiyaki Beef rice meal
    • Teriyaki Chicken rice meal
    • Sukiyaki Beef Noodlefull bowl
    • Teriyaki Chicken Noodlefull bowl
    • Easi Sushi Platter (4 California rolls, 4 Dynamite rolls, 4 Beef rolls, plus choice of edamame beans or 3 cucumber & 3 avocado rolls)

    Free meal selections cannot be substituted for any other menu item and may change without notice.

  • Your tokens do not expire, but your free meal reward must be redeemed within one (1) calendar year of the day you earned it.

  • To redeem your free meal, go to the checkout menu. Click or tap on your desired free meal to add it to your order. Customize to your liking.

    PLEASE NOTE: Extra charges apply to customization items under “extras” such as double beef.

  • Yes, you can save up multiple free meals that you’ve earned. However, you can only redeem 1 free meal per order.

  • Your order may have been less than $15. You earn 1 token for every order over $15, after taxes.

    You may not have been logged into your account. For tokens to accumulate, order information and preferences to be saved, you must have a My Edo Rewards account and use that account to order each time. You can order though edojapan.com or the My Edo App.

  • Only 1 token May be earned per order.

  • No, dollar amounts do not accumulate within an account; each order total is separate.

  • No, the app cannot be used to pay for an order you make in an Edo restaurant, directly with a cashier at their till.

    However, the app is a great way to get your order in ahead during our popular times like lunch hour. Order on the app, bypass the cashier, and go directly to the pre-order pick up sign.

  • Yes, use the same account whether you are ordering through the My Edo App Android or Apple mobile phone apps, or edojapan.com mobile or desktop web sites.
