FEES & INVESTMENTS

Investing in an Edo Japan franchise can be both profitable and fulfilling. As one of the leading fast casual restaurant brands in western Canada, we offer an investment opportunity with the necessary support and guidance to facilitate your success.

Fees associated with opening and operating an Edo franchise are outlined below. Edo Japan prefers that Franchisee candidates have the financial means to support the complete costs of a franchise with at least 50% originating from unencumbered cash.

Franchise Fee
A Franchise Fee of $35,000 is payable upon signing the Franchise Agreement.

Construction Costs
The cost of building your franchise is dependent on the current market, store size, location, and format. Street Front restaurants range from $375,000 to $475,000, while our Food Court formats range from $250,000 to $300,000.

50% of the construction funds are payable by the Franchisee prior to construction. The remaining balance is due near completion and store opening.

Training Costs
Costs associated with the training program are covered in your Franchise Fee. Travel, food and accommodation expenses are assumed by you.

Monthly Fees

  • A monthly Advertising and Promotion Fee of 3% of gross sales is also paid. Edo Japan pools Franchisee advertising dollars and executes marketing and advertising plans and promotional strategies to build the Edo Japan brand for the benefit of all locations.

  • A monthly Royalty Fee of 6% of gross sales is paid by the Franchisee for the rights to use the Edo Japan brand, systems, products, and operational programs.
